About Us
Welcome.....We are Janet (but universally known as Jan.) and Peter Watts, and we live in the village of Shillington, in the county of Bedfordshire in the U.K.
We both have a keen interest in photography, as well as travel, and combine these to present our images. We use Nikon camera's and lenses, having converted to digital some years ago, (but still retaining our film camera's...for example we still retain our Nikon F90X !!).
We print our images on an Epson A3+ printer, using archival papers from a leading supplier, and original Epson pigment inks.
We mount and frame our works for display and sale, using conservation grade mountboards, and framing materials from one of the U.K's larger suppliers.
We are also able to offer an image restoration service. Like many of us we all have those treasured family photographs tucked away for "safe keeping", alas they generally suffer from the ravages of time, and as a consequence, often require restoration, from eliminating cracked and torn edges, to major reconstruction work.
To this end we are able to work from original prints up to A4 in size, 35mm colour negative and black and white film, through to the larger film formats.
Towards the autumn each year we design and print the "Pin Point Prints" calendar, using our images, which can be themed to best effect.
Apart from our images here on our website, we have been co-opted by the Shillington Parish Council, to administer an archive of old images of Shillington. The archive stands in excess of 400 images, and are displayed in an annual exhibition each year. In addition we produce a village calendar using images from the archive.
